There was an error between the comic and Fred's Diary. I corrected it in the comic.
Jinjur is descended from Songween's sister Olnajine, whose emblem was a juniper bush. Vyschuss is descended from Songween's other sister, Olgalili, whose emblem was the death-camass lily flower.
The Lily Guard was supposed to get the sage green and black uniform, and the Black Watch would get the black and blue uniforms, but I screwed up, and it was easier to change the dialog in the comic. To top it off, I showed Vyschuss with the soldiers in the field.
So-o-o...Lily Guard has black and blue uniforms, Black Watch has green and black.
