It is indeed a collaboration with Dark Natasha. I drew the snowie and then sent it to her. She then drew in the tiger and sent it back to me. I then painted the snowie and the curtains and again sent it to her. She then painted the tiger and the pillows, background and ground. Lots of time in the mail for this one!
OH MY! *falls off chair* Well, it may have taken a spell to complete this way but it has turned out fantastically and I say that to BOTH you and Dark Natasha!
Oh, I just realized you both had to wait for all the paint to dry before sending it to each other as well so as not to destroy the painting!
phew... well worth the effort I must say!
Out of curiosity, after saying the above, do you make any copies of your sketches just in case something does go wrong with a painting?
I used to do that all the time till I started getting more and more detailed. I'm thinking I should try that again.
*I wish I could figure out how to delete these darn extra posts when I make a mistake of where I posted my response!*
Sorry for the double. :(

I often scan my pic before I paint them but just cause I like sketches and want to keep a record. I always paint directly onto my original sketch as I tend to paint on illustration board. I'm not too worried about messing something up. If I mess it up I just start another one:)
