A first time ever appearance of two particular surfer characters I have planned for Mythic Beach.

The one on the right is Trianna Wittfred, an anthro Opinicus, or griffin with a whole lion's body instead of eagle talon forearms also, who started surfing in her late teen years, and has been a favorite hobby of hers since, and is one of the nicest girls you'll ever meet, but also has a habit of acting like the voice-of-reason or surrogate (little) sister figure to any given friend of hers (whether they like it or not). The one on her left is Zachary Rikale, an anthro Horned Serpent, a bull-horned water serpent from Native American mythology, who is a full-blown surfer who has ride the waves since his youth in California, and moved to the other side of the United States for reasons that he doesn't fully explain much of. Unlike Trianna, who is all about responsibility, Zachary is more laid-back and barely comprehends the aspects of adult life and tends to not take things seriously. These two still get along well despite their differences, especially thanks to their shared compassion for...you guessed it...surfing. And how they will react with one another's quirks is the very bulls-eye that their possible character arc is aiming for.

And yeah, there are plans for several character arcs for certain people that are either friends with or connected to the main protagonists of the comic. Either it be their own spin-off story, or I could find some way to integrate them with main cast's entire run, the latter of which I may focus on the most for additional story-telling.

Also, a colored version may be in the works someday.
