Unfortunatly, having 2 cats and 3 dogs makes it hard to have one and I'd have to leave it in it's cage pretty much all the time which I wouldn't wanna do.

I had a dog, a cat and a rabbit at the same time. I think it only worked out well because my rabbit was so mellow... but what I did was keep her in a nice big cage and take her outside to play as often as I could. The problem is that you have to watch them very carefully when they're outside so they don't eat harmful plants (milkweed etc) or get attacked by a cat (which almost happened to mine). It is really a huge pain, but makes it possible. Or, depending on where you live, you can get an outdoor hutch (and in winter the rabbit gets a thick soft coat thats more fun to pet).
