Aaah this was a delightful story, I did like seeing Hazel and Akila in play, they make an oddly good team, though I doubt the former is exactly thrilled with their meeting like this. A rather fun and exciting story here, definitely has an air of mystery about it that I did enjoy. The little romp through the museum and the investigation were very nicely written, and that creature definitely was frightening and wonderfully visualized. Excellent work here, ah it is great to see Akila in play finally, and with a very heroic introduction no less. With blimps included of course.
Maddie recommended this to me, and I've got to say I was rather taken in! Quite a bit of solid world building and characterization, and I particularly appreciate how the actual inflation had a real sense of weight (or should that be weightlessness?) to it! Very fun read!
