wanted to try something with a perspective background
i have a hard time understanding perspective because i have aphantasia, so i tried my best without any tutorials or anything. i gotta study it for sure this year. theres mistakes i see with the perspective already but thats ok, i can do better next time :)
p.s. the words are written in english, but in a letter system i created when i was in middle school.. its not complicated once you figure out what the ▲ and • mean ~

Really love the style you used here ! Kolae looks super adorable and the colors in the background are amazing ! I suck at picking colors :'DD
Also I've heard about aphantasia and i honestly don't know if i have it or not. It's kind of hard to diagnose since you have nothing to compare it to ? Like you can't compare your imagination to someone elses without aphantasia so you just have to trust that you have it or not ahhhh

i am certain i have aphantasia. mine is so bad that is affects my visual memory quite a bit. i just had a psychological exam a few months back and it definitely showed i have deficits in visual memory, which i do think is related to the aphantasia. i get lost when i drive, as i cannot remember what the road trip would be in my head haha :P thank god for GPS.
i also never have ideas for drawings in my head. i have to scribble things on paper and hope for the best. must be so cool for people to be able to plan out and think of amazing pictures in their heads!!
aphantasia is not black and white though, many who have it are able to visualize small amounts. brains are so interesting!!

I can imagine how being aphantasic could make that difficult. I'm sort of the opposite. I tend to learn things or figure them out better if I can picture them as objects in 3-D space, and I picture or imagine a lot of things that way, often with a pretty good amount of detail.
Maybe if you worked with referencing things, at least loosely, from other pics or photos that would help...

so much detail, the letters look like they could non represenative, but if you assume the last letter of the first word on the bus stop sign is a s, so that the second word means stop, the bus stop sign says bus stop
after that if you go to drawing of totoro, if you take the ciphered letters from the bus stop sign, you get toto_o, so it can be assumed the unknown symbol is a r, so the picture says totoro
