Poor Joan cannot get a break. She was commissioned by Jessica to make her a new pair of chopsticks for her (but Jessica keeps eating her wood) and Queenie wanted some new high heels shoes. When your customers are 60 miles tall and still growing (MPM= miles per a minute) it is a hard job to fullfill.
