I understand that... Ive been getting hit with all kinds of ideas but they are fleeting at best... But the aircraft design is playing out rather well.

I saw the bit about sleeping in the craft. One thought I had was to treat it like a pop-up tent, where you release and allow it to expand while on the ground, either unfolding or snapping in canvas sides/top/whatever.

One issue with putting any kind of snap or attachment is it causes problems with the airflow. If it is on the wing that kills lift and cause drag... if it'd on the fuselage it causes turbulence in the airflow and adds drag. Now something like a tent to go over the top of the wind to form a enclosed space wouldn't be a bad thing. Someplace to sit and get out of the wind.

I was thinking of something where the snaps weren't exposed in 'flight mode', only when you had things opened up to create more space.

Say like the fuselage shaped was like a long teardrop trailer and you opened the back for space. While the soft sides could be simply folded out of the way, being able to remove them and store them forward might help with the craft's CG.

That's an idea to look at.
