Where do I even begin with this? I was commissioned to do a somewhat fairly simple scene of Duke and Eileen, both doing their respective and usual routines. Mr. Wiley spending the better half of his night in an inebriated haze, typing away the latest story on his Carlisle and reviewing his work. Meanwhile, Ms. Carpenter had just woken up and rolled through her morning duties before perching herself on the windowsill with a hot mug of tea and her ProSnap at the ready.

I really didn't expect to put as much into this as I did. I was given the basics and just ran with it, adding in props and other items that really bring out their personalities.

I don't often feel such profound satisfaction after I finish a piece, especially one that just has so much in it. Of course there are things I'd do differently in the future, but for now? I'm content, and I'll take it. :]

.... hell of a bar I set myself this year already, though... yeesh.
