As much as Hellfarch loves playing games, sometimes he also enjoys simply toying with whatever happens to be around him. In this case, he found himself strolling through a city looking for something fun to do when it suddenly dawned on him that he wasn't big enough. The demon quickly began implementing a corrective measure to alleviate the issue--growing larger--and he noticed that some of the people around him were not appreciating his problem-solving skills. One person kicked at one of his feet, which was quickly engulfing the entirety of the sidewalk and blocking his passage. Another inexplicably began screaming at him from atop a building nearly a block away, and a third began to rudely honk his truck's horn at the demon as his other foot started to block street traffic.
Perturbed and heartbroken over the horrific mild inconveniences his mere growing presence had caused these poor souls, so the demon proclaimed aloud, Hellfarch lost all strength in his legs and he spilled out along the street in anguish. Intending to make amends for his despicable action--once again announcing so to the world--he decided he would be efficient and apologize to all three of his victims at once.
To console the roofgoing objector, Hellfarch shimmied along the street until he was close enough for a one-on-one chat. To understand the psychology of the enigmatic rooftop shouter he poked and prodded at the person's psyche by poking and prodding him literally with a claw. Meanwhile, he decided that some contact therapy would be best to heal the one wronged by his foot, so Hellfarch used his tail to lovingly press the squirming patient into the comfort of his massive sole. At this point, Hellfarch had forgotten about the third person, but he felt a delightful padding under his toe as he dropped the sarcastic atonement act and shifted into a comfortable lounge on the street. The truck driver watched in anguish as his beloved ride compressed under the demon's weight, the person himself being fortunate enough to have left the vehicle to join the foot kicker just before Hellfarch reminded them all why yelling at a giant was indeed not a very good idea.
With traffic building up around him, his victims still giving him plenty of reactions and the nagging feeling that he still just wasn't quite big enough, Hellfarch smiled as he thought of more ways to play with his new toys.
I had actually made this image a while back, before I posted Hellfarch's new ref sheet. I felt like I needed to make the ref sheet before showing off his updated beard, but doing so took so long that I ended up forgetting about this image entirely until just now.
I was fortunate enough to catch that the Polygon City asset pack for Unreal Engine 4 went free for a short time and managed to snag it. It turns out that exporting geometry from UE4 to Maya was surprisingly easy, so I found I had a great stylized city environment to make macro content in! Naturally, I began playing around with putting Hellfarch in it, and this is the result. I just sort of threw things together when making this, so the story is a bit haphazard in an attempt to contextualize all of the images at once, but that's actually how it is with a lot of my renders, and sometimes writing a short story under the constraint of trying to match an image I had made beforehand can be a lot of fun!
(And don't worry, the guy's truck will be okay. Hellfarch will un-smoosh it when he remembers it's there.)

Thank you! I was originally going to have him pin the guy there with his other foot, but then I realized that I hadn't posed his tail yet, and the idea sprung out at me. I would love to make more scenes where Hellfarch's tail is prehensile and can grab onto various people/things by wrapping around them but that is actually fairly difficult to do in 3D without requiring a lot of setup specifically for it.
