It's technically not done but, without a laptop, I'm doing all of my art on my phone with Medibang. It keeps crashing every time I try to do any detail on the bricks or grass or turtle, so I just said "fuck it" and decided to post. Maybe whenever I get (if I get) my tax return, I can replace my laptop and finish it.

Anyway, I came really close to losing my mom this past year and it got me to thinking about when I was a kid living in the projects. I used to stay behind the buildings in a field where I'd play in the drainage ditch and catch turtles and frogs and snakes. Things were simpler and mom didn't have cancer.
