Look into the eyes of the lemur
Golden-Crowned Sifaka (Propithecus tattersalli), in the forests near Daraina, Madagascar.

It's so sad that these amazing creatures are so incredibly endangered.
When I was younger I sent money in regularly to lemur-helping...places... and collected lemur plushies. To this day I have over fifty lemur plushies and counting! Many different species. =)
It's also sad that not many people know what a lemur is, and when they do it's usually just the ringtail lemurs.
I try to tell people about lemurs whenever I get the chance.
I just adore these little guys... <3333

Words like and 'offensive' and 'disastrous' don't seem adequate to describe what going on in Madagascar. Not that they're the only country I could say this about. I sure hope it gets controlled soon.
