Really now! I haven't played TASS myself, but I've been considering it, once I'm able to. Definitely wasn't aware any of the characters ended up tied up in this game. XP

Perhaps I should see if Hati (or Managarmr, depending on the version) meets a similar fate, possibly with a gag...probably not, but that's never stopped me before! >X3

Although the tied up sequences are only described via the characters´ dialogues or through the off narrator, it nontheless piqued the readers imagination, and If I dare to say so myself, a bondage scenario needs to be drawn, not only written down...

I know what you mean, the game sometimes kicks the player out amidst the story. But I have heard, that you can reread the story if you start the game again and choose give up. You will loose AP and stamina, but you can restart the subchapter that kicked you out anew.
Maybe this can help you.

Actually, there is a more effiecnt way to do it.

If you go to the menu you will find the "memories" options. There you can see again all the stories from the main, side, love, characters and special chapters. So Since it stuck in the middle all the time when I play too much, I just skip all the sotries and go fighting during all the chapter. When I reach the end, I go to "memories" to read it when Ihave time. In this way I can save my stamina, even when I got stuck in the middle, since I don't have to click at "give up" to restart.

When I still not working, then I got to the youtube too see it in japanese... I still can't read very well, but at least I can make some assumpitons using lost words, music and facial expressions...

I looked up clips on youtube, but I found them unintentionally, but as I wanted to rewatch them, I couldn´t find them any longer. Must have been deleted because of copyright issues...

Yeah, I found a few, online, but they are sparse. At least, little by little they are getting officially translated. Now I just need a better phone to play it.

Aye. I thought so too to beginn with, but the game is a full-fletched RPG with well written story and vivid characters, one would like to become friends with.

This drive has a bunch of fan translations compiled, though it's missing the chapters that were already translated officially before its creation. Those might be on YouTube, or you could just blitz them quick ingame since the early chapters are pretty easy

It was a nice coincidence that led me to this franchise and after some research, i took an interest in it. At first glance I feared it to be a simple dating game, mostly focused on the erotic aspect, but I changed my mind after the first chapter. The story is very well done and the characters are well written - not to mention that they all look epic - maybe sometimes a bid over the top buff but that is not a fun-killer^^

And I defenitly will draw more of them. There are more then enough promising scenarios and stuff I would like to try to draw^^

Hrm, do you read Japanese, or do you read the English version? I think the translation to English was fairly well done, since I'm able to enjoy the story! Ohohoh, I look forward to seeing you draw more! i have many favorite characters from there, I'm not sure who I want to see the most!

Tokyo Afterschool Summoners is a game I've been looking into myself, a lot of interesting characters and a good backstory and though it's not the type of game that normally interests me it's one I'm planning on getting hold of if I can. Nyarlathotep and Tsathoggua or the versions of them here I'm particularly interested in, though I imagine I'll find many more I like as well. I imagine though there are a lot of scenes which could provide you inspiration for your art and a lot of nice looking characters so I'll look forward to seeing whom else you might draw if you ever do more artwork for this.

Tadamoto from what I've read about him is one of the characters I'm looking forward to seeing him in the game, so a good piece of artwork to capture a tender moment though I'll have to have a lookout for the scene and see where it goes from there.

Indeed the game is a full fletched RPG with a thought provoking story, talking about very serious topics like religious fanatism, stalking, two class society, the cliff bedween rich and poor, economic enterprise at all cost etc.
Plenty of interesting stories to read.

Plus the game is not only bara literature/gay literature, it also provides a female character to make it easier for possible straight gamers to get access to the topic as well.

I was surprised to find those two H.P Lovecraft hommages too.

Nyarlathotep shown as DJ is an hommage to "The Royal Pant", one of his incarnations in the myth of C´thulluh.

Tsathoggua is also portrayed spot on like his original version, yet again totally different, but very fitting in this game^^

yes he does, but he doesn´t want to show his soft side, so being embarrased like this is forgivable, he is just so happy that he found his master again
