Why get rid of the tumblr bird?

Because it was too offensive and it was pretty much a bad stereotype we shouldn't reinforce. In order to avoid more conflict with the people on twitter i decided to delete it.

So you triggered someone? I'd be more proud that I was on the money about it than offensive. That's just me though.

I was called transphobic, mysoginistic, fat-phobic because of it. Would you let people call you that even if they don't know you?

I mean, i am not. But someone out there in twitter made it look like it and a swarm of people came in to roast that pic afterwards.

If they don't know you they don't got shit on you. I mean I understand why you'd do that, but don't let people have their way with you over something clearly done in jest and not serious.

I don't like making conflicts with people i don't even know, specially on the internet. If that thing made so many people so angry i think it's the best option to remove it and let us all forget this was a thing. They hate it? It's gone, let us move on. Because again: I hate fighting and it wasn't my intention to make conflicts with anyone: i wanted to make a joke.

Even i admit i could have picked a less risky option but i was a too less careful last night and didn't think of the people close to me who might have been felt bad because of it.

It's funny how this became a meme when apparently that rule to not anthropomorphize the bird was supposed to be for employees of the company to not do that.
