Watership Down (the 70's film) was the inspiration for my entire foundation as an artist. I don't draw fan art of it much, but it's true that without it, I wouldn't be the artist I am today. So I was of course very excited, but also scared, when the Netflix series aired. I was pleasantly surprised with it! I have a lot of qualms with it, but overall I wasn't disappointed. I can understand why other fans were, however.

Regardless, I'm happy to see WSD trending a bit since it was released, so I got this idea for a fun YCH based on the classic visual of the buns up on the hill with Frith!

The Basics:
• You can submit ANY species, BUT YOUR CHARACTER WILL BE TURNED INTO A FERAL RABBIT/HARE! This includes rabbit/hare hybrids: they will turn fully rabbit or hare. Although existing rabbit characters are absolutely allowed, of course!
• I will NOT be allowing pose shifts. What you see here is what your character will be doing. If you see something VERY MINOR you'd like altered (such as expression) that is fine! But I'm not going to be re-positioning anything.
• BACKGROUND WILL NOT CHANGE. What you see is what you get.
• NO CLOTHING ALLOWED with the exception of MINOR ACCESSORIES such as piercings, leg warmers, scarves, and necklaces. Ask if you're curious!
• Horns and wings ARE allowed, but they will be shrunken down!
• Hair IS allowed if you want it!
• Although it should be obvious, this is a SFW piece! So uh... no weird dingles or anything.
