Collings Foundation TA-4J taxis past the crowd and to the runway prior to the Vietnam Re-enactment. Very rare aircraft to see in flight these days!

Amen to that...when you see them on TV and stuff, you kinda think 'yeah, whatever'. In person...you see just how quick and nimble (and small and hard to spot!) they really are, and wonder why they were retired instead of upgraded! I mean, you really can't identify it until it's right on top of you, it zips by, and speeds off so fast you barely have time to react!
Hehe! I bought my ticket several months in advance. I knew that was the only way to go for me given the crowds and my short stature (5'4). Looking back, Saturday may have been the better day since the Skyhawk and Douglas Flight was given more time for extra passes (plus used the closer runway for take off!), not to mention Fat Albert's JATO. But, some of the unique instances on Sunday made up for it.
