NOTE: Blackjack and Littlepip are indeed related: the two of them are Distant Cousins on the Apple side of the family: with Littlepip being a descendant of Applejack, while Blackjacks Great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandmother Tarot was discovered to be the only daughter of Big Macintosh, conceived some time before the Battle of Shattered Hoof Ridge, his lover wasn't able to tell him the news of her pregnancy before he left, and after his death, Tarot was instead given over to her aunt via a surrogacy spell while Macintoshs' lover had her memory erased unable to deal with the emotional trauma that the stallion she had loved was now dead. Tarot would then be slated along with her mother for Stable 90 on The Last Day, only for them to be too far away from Stable 90 when the bombs dropped, instead Big Macintoshs grandfather whom Tarots' surrogate mother happened to be friends with told them to head for Stable 99 which was closer. Marigold and Tarot were denied entry until the Stables Chief-of-Security Card Trick managed to finagle sanctuary for Tarot on account of her being childless and that any Stable Occupant is allowed to bring in with them one child. Tarot would then be formally adopted by Card Trick once inside of Stable 99, the lineage of Tarot and her descendants having engraved their names into the handle of Card Tricks' signature 12.7 Magnum "Vigilance", with every new generation born into Stable 99 expected to take over the duties of their predecessor once they die. Tarots' surrogate mother Marigold would die on a bench just outside of Stable 99 overlooking the Bay around Hoofington, her cousin whom she had unknowingly inherited her daughter from would be the last survivor within Maripony during The Last Day, whom would eventually get pulled into The Goddess...
