Yes, there was an issue with the paint used for the suit's eyes, and I couldn't see out of them at all. I told Scout and he fixed the issue within the day.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
Super comfy to wear! The head itself is a little loose fitting compared to my previous heads, but in my opinion it makes it easier to breathe. It's lined with Lycra, which feels soft and keeps things cool inside. The ventilation is outstanding; I had my head on for at least 20 minutes straight at one point, and definitely felt like I could have gone longer. Like I mentioned before, there was in issue with the vision initially due to the type of paint that was used, but now the vision is perfect!

Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
I'm so satisfied with how the head looks. I had a few dreams in my excitement leading up to his completion, and the finished product looked exactly like I imagined. Nothing is lopsided and his markings look exactly how I wanted them. The fur is incredibly soft to the touch, very high quality. I adore his expression as well. One thing that I didn't have in mind initially was the addition of the whiskers, which Scout suggested to me after I gave him some rough concept art. I am beyond pleased with how they look! Definitely enhances the cuteness of this cat.

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
I am really impressed with the fit of this suit. I'm a slender individual, so even with a duct tape dummy, my other two fullsuits are still slightly baggy on me. Such is not the case with this suit. He fits like a dream, snug and easy to move around in. I had a lot of fun posing and running around. I was suiting indoors and had no issues with the internal temperature of the suit. Wonderful airflow, no issues to report there!

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
Exactly as I wanted. The zipper is in the front and you can't even see it! It's sturdy and almost the exact same color as his fur, so it blends in. The tail is attached via a circular zipper to the body, which I had never seen before. It's really difficult to detach and reattach, at least for me. I probably will only be wearing him as a fullsuit though, so it's not that big of an issue for me. Scout remarked that it was an experiment he wanted to try (and I had given my full consent towards this) and he probably wouldn't be using this method in the future. Other than that, it looks great and I am very happy with it.

Special Attachments and Features

This was my very first digitigrade suit, so I was a little intimidated about the extra padding. I needn't have worried; once I got the hang of putting them on and adjusting them, the cushions are easy to wear and look great from the outside! The padding doesn't hinder my movements in any way.

I love the paws on this suit. The handpaws have big puffy digits, which look adorable. Both hand and feetpaws fit perfectly. They're both lined with Lycra, just like the head, which makes them extra comfortable and nice to wear.

Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume pieces look from the outside.
Looks just like I wanted them to. Claws included at my request, they look and feel great.

The attachment via a circular zipper in the back is a little daunting, but it stays on so I don't have to worry about it dragging or falling off the suit. Overall, immensely satisfied.

I love the tail so much! Very clean and neat construction and that cute little raised tip? Perfection.

How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything fits correctly, there's not a stitch out of place. The colors on the suit are consistent and you can't see any of the scrawny human beneath. The suit's quality is on par with the maker's previous suits, if not better.


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
Scout and I discussed the idea of him making this suit in person at Anthrocon 2018.


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
He was wholeheartedly on board with my concept, and was already shopping for fur swatches shortly after the con. He agreed to do it for just the cost of materials, plus a few personal items unrelated to the suit, with the stipulation that he would have full artistic freedom over the the construction of the suit. The only thing I supplied him was some very rough concept art detailing the species and color scheme for the suit.


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
First and foremost, Scout is my biological brother. That being said, I'm still very nitpicky when it comes to my fursuits. If it's not up to my expectations, I won't wear it. Scout was very patient with me throughout the whole process, keeping me clued in on each detail about the suit as he worked. He is friendly and always available to his commissioners. He never made me feel like I was asking dumb questions or that my concerns about the suit weren't important.


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
There was no hard and fast due date for this suit; the only condition I had was that it would be complete before my next con (FWA 2019). He wanted the suit to be finished by Halloween 2018, but due to personal reasons this didn't happen. He apologized profusely, even though it was only a personal goal he had set for himself - I was indifferent and happy to wait. Once the suit was completed, he was hand delivered to me, every piece perfect and intact.


Are you happy with the product you received?
This suit honestly exceeded my expectations and I'm so excited to wear it at future conventions for years to come.


Describe your overall experience with this maker.
Scout (MostlyBad) is an incredibly hard worker who will really go the extra mile to make sure his customers are happy with their suits. A Mostly Bad suit is beautifully crafted, using the best materials available. I can't thank this maker enough for the awesome job he did. Scout has an excellent work ethic; he's a perfectionist and won't rest until both he AND the commissioner are completely satisfied with their suit. His customer service is great, and he made it clear to me that he would be happy to repair any problems with my suit. Each of his suits looks better than the one before, and I'm so happy I got mine! I can't wait to see his future projects.
