For 2019 I want to shift to a higher gear with my world building, so here’s a little concept for a Dust Kern! They live in hot deserts and other arid environments.
Kerns are an own dragon species of mine that I’m developing. They’re a part of a world that I’ve decided to call Nova!
They come in six different subspecies; Plains, Forest, Coastal, Snow, Dust and Hell.
All Kern variants feature long feathers growing from their manes. These feathers always grow in pairs, and there can be up to four or even five pairs on a Kern’s neck.
All Kerns have different characteristics, such as build, horns, colors, markings and feathers, that tells them apart, so I’m going to start getting some concepts down for them so I can settle on their final designs!
My ultimate goal is to create a giant reference sheet for the whole species. ;o;
