2018 Art Summary TV_thari
Yes, here it is! my Art summary of 2018. (A little late, but ahwell)
My year started quite rowdy and had lots of ups and downs… even though the beginning of my year was quiet and boring I did manage what I wanted this year. So enjoy my art travel for 2018 :D
January:
In January I got commission for this frikking amazing piece! He wanted a heavy metal piece and gave me full artistic freedom for it! I am so proud of this piece.
I feel like I really did well with the shading and dynamic posing. Luckily my customes felt te same way ;3.
February and March:
Nothing much or special has happend these months. I worked at a new full time job which took a lot of my time back then. More than it should have to be honest, my physical healh declined by a unknown allergy.
April:
A small piece I made on commission. Probably the only OK thing I produced back then. I was still very busy with my job.
may:
another month or barely work. And this piece is the only OK art I created in that month.
June:
My first traditional badge in ages! I wanted to test myself and see if my traditional art actually got better! I must say it was a lot of getting used to since I haven’t done it for such a long time.
But I really liked it and Im quite proud! This was a art-trade piece for Raeven.
July:
My first fullsuit commission! I was so proud of this cute wolf! I know my bodysuit still aren’t the greatest but the customer LOVED it!
It was definitely a fursuit comm with a lot of ups and downs and A LOT of delays ;v; (due to webshops being out of stock) . but seeing the happy face of the customer made it all worth it!
And this guy belongs to someone in the Netherlands so you dutchies will probably see him from time to time :D!
August:
Due to medical issues I had to quit my job, It was saddening but honestly the best choice I’ve made.
I felt less stressed and worried and finally got around to finish comms and get back on track.
So I took on this adorable plushie commission for my dear friend Sakura!
I made this lil guy with my own made pattern and Im quite proud of it! Ofc the pattern needs some fixing and tweening but so far I am very pleased and definitely will improve my pattern so I can do more plushie comms in the future!
September:
the relief from leaving job gave me my art spirit back! I got full back into art and I loved it.
I even took on this Nerf-gun repaint commission. I have never done anything like this before but it turned out amazingly well! It was so much fun trying something new.. and something ive never done before. This feuled me to try even more projects.
October:
A cute adorable Halloween themed fursuit collar I made. I LOVE making these! Its so cute and so much fun to make! Def improved my skill a lot and I’m glad its showing off :P
November:
Really another highlight of my year! My dear friends from custom costumes asked me to design the T-shirts for ‘’Stahlwolle’’!!
Stahlwolle is a german furry metal event and If I defenitly love something… its metal. They gave me full freedom on the design and I decided to go with a more simple and detailed design than the previous years.
I am so proud of this piece and I hope you guys at Stahlwolle loved it ^//^

December:
December was a more quiet month again. I got a new job I absolutely love and it. It gives me way more free time which I can use for my art and commissions.
I made this cute little pendant for myself and little DIY project Ive always wanted to make but never got around to do so (due to work n such).
With this little piece I wanna start getting back into more sculpture commissions again! I was hoping on doing a Christmas sculpt ^^;; but ran out of time.
But Im defenitly planning on bringing back my ‘’Furrariums’’ But more improved. So stay tuned for that!!

Honestly even tough I started the year off with a awfull feeling, Im glad I followed the promise I made for myself last year, which was ‘’I wanna try out more new things”and whatayou know! I made a fullsuit, fursuit collars, repaints and even a plushie :D!
This year I hope to bring even more creative outbursts and hope to try many more new things!
Thanks a lot for sticking around and being loyal support though out 2018. I hope you guys enjoyed this art summary meme… See yha in 2019!
