Most definitely. the paint on my Rainbow Dash is atrocious. If I can find a bulk pack of leather paint to restore her mane and tail... this is why the last few models I got from them, I made sure to have white be the predominant color. (Specifically, Sasha the shiny Eevee, and Thistle Down)
Although, Thistle seems to have a rougher texture that is holding the paint better. My black skunk is holding up pretty decently too.
