I put together an overview of my paintings in 2018. This year was really not an easy one for me (more like the worst of my life lol) and I thought there were 2 month I didn't create anything - but apparently I did.
I don't think there is much of a progress visible this time, I can feel it tho. The January picture was some real try hard shit at that time, today, one year later, I see a lot I could've done better and I would most certainly not need as much time as I did back then. I believe I actually put it between 15 and 20 hours oof. I got noticeably a lot faster meanwhile, most likely because my sketching got much more solid and I'm better at choosing the right painting style for different textures.
Although I didn't draw as much as I wanted a-g-a-i-n I believe I'm still kinda content with working on my weaknesses. This might just be the first time ever I feel what I did over the year and it's motivating as hell to go on like that.
My goal (or strategy?) for this year would be to do commissions more regularly for me to be forced to paint on a more regular basis as well and not when I feel like it every once in a while :'D I hope my practice turns out do be more effective than this year.
So how was your 2018? Did you have some new year resolutions and did you keep them? Do you have any goals for 2019?
Oh btw, the snake painting from July is just an unfinished study but somehow I like it... So I put it in there. I should do way more studies.
Thank you everyone who's been with me throughout the year! Everyone who followed, faved and commented on my art, everyone who commissioned me, everyone who inspired me - Have a great 2019!
