They asked me to design a Stellarmass alien cartographer. So I went with a Springer because they are naturally very curious and tough. They can wander around for a while without water and other provisions!

Springers are an alien race from my Stellarmass universe. They are pretty much scrubland/desert dwelling people who still get preyed on by gigantic predators and have a society similar to the old west.
