Known as the wool witch. She lives in a small house just outside of town. the townsfolk come to her for warm clothing and to repair their clothes. In return they offer her food and other daily needs so that she can survive herself. The town is very grateful for her and have offered her often a house in their town. Yet she always declines. She knows that if there were outsiders passing through with the intention to attack her, that the town would be in danger.
Every year, the night before Christmas, she delivers Christmas clothing for the whole town.
These clothing were knitted with small patterns of Christmas trees, candles and other Christmas ornaments. All of these would be a perfect fit for the person it would be made for.
And if she was really happy with the year she would create a giant Christmas tree, made of wool, in the middle of the town. So people could enjoy Christmas and get warmth as they could set it on fire on New year's as big celebration.
How she came to be was anyone's guess. As a little girl of 8 years old she lived in that house. Nobody knows how she came there to be, even she doesn't know. Her curiosity of finding out rarely exists as she is happy how she lives. She feels strongly connected to the house, even though she doesn't have any knowledge of what and where she was before she was 8 years old.
But she wasn't alone in this endeavour. She had a pet pigeon, which had the same colour pattern she had. Although it was bigger that a normal pigeon, it was as big as a hawk, but was never as fierce as one. The pigeon likes to hug her ever so often and rolling around in the wool that would lie around the house.
All she wants for Christmas and longer is to life a cozy life with her pigeon and the town.
But as everyone knows, a fantasy is just a fantasy. Outsiders caught wind of her existence as she goes to other towns for getting balls of yarn to create new things. Some of these outsiders want her for herself or disagree with her existence as they find that the people of that town need to take care of themselves.
The wool witch is inexperienced with combat and uses all of her knitting tools and terms to stop the enemy. She doesn't want to hurt them and tries immobilise them with wool.
Wool control:
The wool witch has excellent control over every kind of fabric that is destined for clothing.
Nylon, cotton, etc. This means she can also make people's clothing disappear if she wish to do so. Normally she doesn't do such a thing and carries a whole bag full of all sorts of threads and fabrics, all of different colour.
As a normal attack, well more to annoy or confuse them rather. She will shoot balls of yarn or nets made of wool. After the “attacks” have hit their target or missed them, she quickly reels them back in and back into her bag. But outside of this, her combat skills is very small.
She could create cute dolls to scare the enemies or distract them, but hurting someone she would try to avoid at all cost. Her main gimmick is to distract, immobilize or to scare enemies off as well as defending others with her clothing as armour.
Knitting
Her favourite activity next to rolling around in the snow is knitting herself warm clothing so that the cold doesn't bother her. Her pigeon oddly enough seems to be immune to the cold, but that doesn't mean she knitted a scarf for him just in case.
With her knitting skills she can make rapidly scarfs, sweaters, pants and other figures.
She has practiced so much that she can make it all from the top of her head in mere seconds, depending on the amount of detail required. This is also how she tries to immobilise her enemies. She knits super thick sweaters and pants around the enemy, wrap them up in a scarf or knit their own clothing against objects so that they can't move.
Darning
For her defence she can fix up wool like walls to stop projectiles or slow them down majorly.
It all depends on what kind of fabric she uses to stop it with. This wall is firstly made by creating the outer layer and patching it up. In dutch this is called “Stopping” which is mainly done for socks. but stopping any dangerous attacks is nice too.
If immobilising them without pain is seeming to fail she sadly forces herself to sew the enemy's skin towards in object inflicting pain upon them. She does this by letting the needle go through the outer layer of people skin or armour against a wall or tree or anything sturdy enough to keep them there long enough for her to make her escape or to make her point.
Perks
Estimating sizes and distances
Having made so many different sizes of all sorts of clothing.
Thanks to this, the wool witch is able to estimate how much thread is needed
in order to make a specific piece. But something like this is also using to measure distances in general, this way she can tell almost the exact distance the enemies are at.
Dressed for the occasion
She always knows what to wear for every occasion. From innocent and childish to naughty and mature. This part of her skill set is also useful to avoid enemies from catching on to her.
But this is mostly used to put people at ease and get some sales for more yarn.
Ultimate
Yarn away!
The wool witch scoops everyone up and puts a giant thick sweater around them to immobilize them. After that she all sews them together and transform them into one big ball
of yarn and pushes them away or with help shooting them into the sky.
