Larger Than Life Commission Layout: Marcus Awoolius
Remember this guy from the other day: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/29907276/ ? Well here's the layout for the next one! This time it's Marcus Aurelius for
warthog117 who asked me to just draw something I thought would be really beautiful and I really like old statues and philosopher-kings like Marcus here so here we are.
If you're interested in getting one of these larger than life commissions done specially for you and sent to your domicile: hit me up with a PM or email (boneitisuno@gmail.com), price starts at $500 due to the sheer size, amount of materials needed, and shipping. Thanks for looking!
Piece here is done entirely with a .07 mechanical pencil, the cheap kind!

This is a fantastic piece. I really like the shading and the depth. And the details! I instantly knew which historical figure this was portraying! Seriously, super great job on this!
What are the physical measurements of this piece? And out of curiosity, about how long does it take to do something like this with a pencil? I made an attempt at a fairly large drawing about 20 years ago, and sadly was unable to finish it. I'd been working on it about .5 to 1.5 hours a day for weeks.

By the end they're about eight feet tall, these layout pieces are done on 11x17 inch paper in order to iron out all the compositional/anatomical kinks.
