I have one more 'photo-op' of 'Splinter' - the Duprey family's pet (a chihuahua-Yorkshire terrier mix) - with one of his Christmas presents...
On December 24, 2018, I'd sent out a Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope - to East Rockaway, New York - with presents for each member of the family. My niece Corynne got a gift card, good for use at one of Long Island's shopping malls. Her husband (my nephew-in-law) Hector got a gift card to be used at a restaurant (for lunch or dinner with his wife). My grand-nephew Tristan, who had already turned six months old, got an extra-small size T-shirt with an image of kids riding BMX bikes...
And, not to leave the dog out of the picture, I sent 'Splinter' a chew toy - in the shape of a bone, with a bacon scent. (The package said bone came in described it as 'small' [for canines that weigh from 10-to-20 pounds], but I wasn't entirely sure if this puppy was even going to reach ten pounds at maturity.)
Corynne was able to use the camera feature of her smartphone to take several 'photo-ops' of 'Splinter' with his present. This one is the best of the bunch...
Watch for more 'photo-ops' of 'Splinter' from my niece - as well as other canine snapshots, taken by yours truly - during 2019!
