I dunno, I just felt like elaborating on them. I don't like to draw things that don't make sense, so I made sense of dog gloves. xD
The materia band is the same with Cloud - flexible metal bent to fit snugly around the leg.
i figure their owners clamped them on (yeah, they have/had owners in my weird alternate FFVII universe)
