• Biography: Mozu is a member of the ½ mermaid clan, being one of the many ½ merfolk born to Junichiro and Palutena. She, along with her twin sister Yuzuha, was born a week after Eurydice, and they are one of the only ½ mermaids that are mersharks alongside the elder mershark Golgotha before them. Of the ½ mershark twins, Mozu is the younger twin and her species is a Tiger Shark, compared to Yuzuha’s, who is a Great White Shark instead. Like Yuzuha and Miyako, Mozu aspired to become a shinobi so she could help her father fight off evil wherever it appears. Picking up a glaive in comparison to Yuzuha’s Naginata and Katana, Mozu enlisted with her sisters into Hanzō National Academy where she was accepted. At first, Mozu was weary of the others due to the fact they’d see her as a Yōma because of her ½ mershark blood. Those worries however, vanished when Mozu managed to pass her 1st & 2nd years flawlessly, and reach her 3rd with perfect scores like her sisters. Mozu then strived to continue her shinobi studies to become a great fighter like her father and bring honor to her family name. Mozu is as kind and honorable as her father is, but while Yuzuha has a sadistic streak to her, Mozu is a huge masochist in comparison, much like how Ryona is, but Mozu’s masochism is on a lesser scale fortunately. Mozu is often begging to get hurt during battles and even go so far as to even as her own father to inflict some form of pain onto her (which he often denies her), yet this never stops him from compromising with Mozu in some way both can agree on. Due to being a tiger shark, Mozu can come off as a bit of a glutton, and just as how the tiger shark is known as the “Trash Bin of the Sea”, Mozu lives up to this to some degree, as anytime there’s leftover food, she’s there to eat it up so that it doesn’t go to waste. And this works out perfectly as Mozu’s always bound to have room for more and she’s a big eater and has become infamous for darting over whenever she hears "leftovers" being said aloud. Nonetheless, her favorite food is mostly meat and she will often dine on gamey meat as well, but unlike Yuzuha, this does not include bear meat. Like her elder twin sister, Mozu does not like dirty old men, but hates it even more when opponents hold back against her due to being a masochist. The best at clearing leftovers at buffets.
• Abilities: Mozu is capable of taking on her mershark form whenever she’s in the water. Within the water, Mozu’s swimming speed is greatly increased and she can outpace even the best Olympic swimmers. Her sharp teeth are always pointing inside the mouth, so whatever she bites onto has little chance of escaping her jaws. However, her teeth are naturally shed so they stay sharp, and she never has sharp teeth grow where the tip of her tongue is as it’s no fun in dealing with a cut tongue. As far as combat goes, Mozu is arguably very resilient to damage, even when her clothes have been torn off. Her defense is so great, she can practically serve as a meat shield for oncoming attacks, and given how Mozu is a huge masochist, this works out in her favor greatly. Her speed is about average, but she is still a fast runner. Unlike Yuzuha who favors the naginata and katana, Mozu instead uses an Old English Glaive Partisan Spear as her means of offense. She uses it nightmarishly well and has been known to use it to whack her foe’s weapons out of their hands as well. Mozu’s Secret Ninja Arts are as follows.
o Drill Rush: Mozu twirls her lance before dashing forward with it straight out in front of her. Takes away a good chunk of enemy’s clothing durability.
o Wild Tiger: Mozu leaps in the air with her partisan, slashing overhead with it upon landing, then breaks into a spin as a finisher.
o Quicksand Waves: Mozu’s ultimate Secret Ninja Art. Mozu charges energy into the blade of her partisan, and slams it in the earth, sending waves of quicksand at the enemies. This leaves behind pits of quicksand.
