Curse Temple(Spix's Macaw Transformation)

Elliot and Joel travelled in a boat deep in the amazon jungle. They both jump off the boat and headed into the jungle for a couple of days. They both were excited to walk through the amazon jungle and Joel said “Wow look at this place, I can hear birds squawking and chirping everywhere. this is a good place to camp.” he Saw a macaw. it was a Green Winged Macaw, sitting on Elliot´s shoulder. he said in soft voice “whoa, hey there little macaw” the macaw squawked at Elliot and took off. Joel said “wow, that was cool. Lets see if we can find some more friendly birds, lets look around, Elliot” Elliot nodded and walk about couple hours.

They walk deeper and deeper into the amazon jungle, till they saw two female spix's macaw squawking at the two of them and Elliot said “oh spix's macaws. they are a rare sight. They are really rare and beautiful birds.” Joel walked closer to the two female spix's macaws, but they got scared and took off. Joel gasped and said “wow such beauty, its sad there are so few of them left.” Joel looked at Elliot, who answered “that's true, there are only a few hundred left. They need every little chick to survive.” Joel nodded and both walked deeper into the jungle.

they walked and saw an old temple. They awes at the unexpected find. They really didn't expect to randomly find a temple deep in the amazon jungle. Joel Said “Whoa look at it. Its amazing. we should go inside, I bet we are the first humans in hundreds of years to see this!” Joel is eager to get inside. Elliot replied with laugh “Yeah Sure! Why not” both went inside. The walls were covered with strange writings and drawings even some drawings of jungle birds. Elliot said “this is a bit creepy, I wonder if there are any traps here like in the Movies” both went deeper till they entered a room containing a figure on a pedestal that looked like a bird.

They walk to the bird figure and Joel said “this must be ancient. Every museum would die for such a thing? We should grab it and get out of here!” Joel looked up and saw small opening. Elliot looked there too “If we get lost here we can still try getting out through this hole, we will have to climb though.” Joel looked at Elliot and said “yeah but, lets just grab this thing and get out of here, I´m starting to get a bit nervous” they both grabbed hold of the bird figure. it started glowing in their hands and both of them dropped the figure onto the ground. they felt something invisible entering their bodies. It was hard to describe, but it was a warm feeling, almost pleasant.

Joel´s clothes were shrinking and he shouted “Elliot!! look!! you are shrinking!!” Elliot felt his body shrinking as well and he shouted to Joel “You are shrinking as well what is happening?” Joel took of his shoes and socks. Joel looked at his feet in shock and concluded “We are becoming Birds!!” Joel looked at his bare feet, becoming black grey, rough skinned, twisted 4 pointed talons with sharp nails. Elliot´s feet followed the change and he took of his shoes to see his feet changing into talons, just like Joel´s. it was quite painful, feeling every bone crack and reform and flesh melting and mutating into a new form and purpose, and their feet weren't the only thing to change.

Joel´s arm sprouted blue feather so very fast even his body was suddenly overwhelmed like a flood of feathers. Joel took off his Red coat and vest, seeing his body overrun with blue feathers. he shouted in pain “We are becoming Spix's Macaws!! AHHHHH it hurts!!” Joel saw his body cracking and reshaping into a bird form, and his hand merged into wing tip of a macaw wing, that the rest of his arm has become. Elliot took off his clothes except his pants and both saw Elliot´s body covered into blue feathers, and his body almost converted into Spix Macaw form. Joel screamed like a macaw “Squawk!! what the, my voice!” Elliot heard Joel's squawking like a macaw Joel´s face, the last bastion of his humanity surrendered to the changes, reforming into a the proper skull of a macaw.

Elliot squawk with pain “Squawk!!! It´s too much. Please, stop! we don't want to be birds, Squawk!” Joel's teeth fused together pushing out as his new beak, becoming black and white in the middle. he squawked so loud due to the pain of the transformation. their lips were fusing and pulling becoming the cere of the Beak, completing their beaks as they pulled out, becoming the pointed hooked beaks of macaws, made to open even the hardest nuts. their minds are blurring, becoming new, as their mind was filled with macaw instincts urging them to fly, to be free. They were still themselves, but their mind was joined by new Instincts.

With the Final cracks of bones, both Squawk and their transformation was completed. Elliot, the spix macaw, flew up and saw the remands of their clothes and two others. It may be, that the two female spix's macaws they saw earlier, were also victims of this place, becoming birds like they did. Elliot checked for Joel. he seemed happy, grinding his beak. they both flew up to the small opening to search for the two female spix's macaw they saw earlier that day.

After a couple of minutes they found their new mates. They bobbed their heads and squawked like any born Parrot would do. the females accepted them as their mates. They build their nests close to each other, being friends as humans, they would stay friends as Macaws. They went on to have a family of spix's macaws each. after a couple months they had perfect blue fluffed babies. Joel loved his life as Spix's macaw an his family, and Elliot enjoy flying around and squawking with the other macaw friends they made. they both were happy and they lived a perfect live as Spix Macaws. Raising their young to sustain their species and hopefully in the future keeping the Spix macaws alive.
