more background practice! i experimented a bit with brushes here - it turns out sai's default rough_vertical brush is nicer for drawing out those wobbly cloud shapes than doing it manually. trying to paint a convincing-looking lens flare was also interesting. hopefully you can tell that's what it's supposed to be P:

feel free to use/repurpose this however you like, with credit! using it as part of commissions/YCHs/adoptables etc. is fine
