Alouette_Avian is a friend of mine! Alouette's current favorite character is Samantha, the Ladybug Girl. Unfortunately, while Alouette can do life drawing and caricature with a skill I will never have, classic cartoon funny animal design seems to be a huge blind spot.

So, I thought I'd take a shot at redesigning Samantha, by my understanding of the character's concept!

Samantha, as she has been explained to me, is a shy, innocent little waif of a kitten, who belongs to the most embarassing youth organization in the entire world, the Ladybug Girls. How bad? Let's just say that a Favored Customer can pay an extra fee and the Ladybugs will add a collar with his name on it to her uniform.
