Yes! Like the feetpaws, who were too tight, turns out that this was brand new slippers, and i have to ''break them''. Now they fit perfectly!

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The head is comfortable! Its lined, if i compare it with my boyfriend's suit head from the same maker. Before they were not lined, now they are, so that makes the head more comfy to wear! I also have LEDs in the eyes and the antlers. Antlers are A-Okay, The eyes, a little less, when its pitch dark (emphasis on the ''pitch dark'') , if i put the LED's at their maximum, i can't see anything, but other than that, my head is beautiful, this is just a itty bitty issue, i'll get used to it (first time having this kind of LED in a head). What i love the most is my design on the back of my ears! They are well made! The vision is WAY better than my other head. Also, the ventilation is pretty good! I have some kind of respiratory problems sometimes (such as bronchitis, asthma) and to be fair, their heads are really good! I can breathe! The antlers are surprisingly not heavy! Well if i wear my fursuit for 3-4 hrs straight (without taking breaks) it can be heavy on my neck. But its normal. Also, when my suit is in ''storage'', the antlers tend to fall apart due to the gravity, but these things are normal!

Appearance Satisfaction

From the outside, the head looks amazingly well done! Like i said earlier, the back of the ears are a charm to look at! The antlers from the outside are amazing! Symmetry is freaking good!! The shaving is far more better than before! I asked a grumpy expression for my fursuit, because overall, i love angry suits. Tough, Having known earlier, i would have asked for magnetic eyelids LOL! But other than that, My fursuit head looks exactly like the ref sheet i provided! The only thing we added, and its not on my ref sheet, are the little white circles on the head. Because it adds more expression to my head, and since its a fursuit head, its better that way!

Special Attachments and Features

The special features are the LEDs. They were made by someone who knows how to do them. They used a software and all the things to do them, so i guess this is somewhat made my hand! If i can link a video of how they works, this is even better! Because they seriously nailed the LEDs!! I LOVE everything with leds in it so im highly satisfied! I can't feel the battery box at ALL behind my neck!

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear this piece of your costume.
The body needs to stretch out more even if i wear it for a good amount of time. But other than that the body fits me perfectly. This is also my first time having a digitigrade, and to be fair, i didn't noticed on how heavy this is! I will get used to it! I don't dare to do too much of a false movement, i'm always scared to rip it. The seams are well made, i can move without them popping. The cleaning is EASY to do on them! Overall, the body is comfortable to wear, even with the padding.

Appearance Satisfaction
Please describe how satisfied you are with how your costume piece looks from the outside.
The appearance on my bodysuit is amazing! The markings are well made, i feared they might missed them but nope! they nailed it. The only thing we agreed to do is, with my agreements, they've modified my arm markings, to be sewn easily. I agreed, because i fully knew this was a fursuit. The seamstress drew some patterns on a paper and contacted me privately if they were okay like this, and i agreed. This is the only thing we did on my fursuit but it was made with agreements. Overall, my bodysuit is all symmetrical, the shaving is top notch! The even used beaver fur, which is shorter than any other fur. This fur is soft. I asked them if i could have shorter fur since my fursona has shorter fur, except for the neck and even the back of the ankles! They accepted without hesitation!

HANDS AND FEET

Wear Satisfaction
Please describe how it is to wear these pieces of your costume.
The handpaws, which are hand hooves, are plushy style, they are freaking comfy to wear! Nothing more, nothing less.
The feetpaws. The were hurting my feet at first. So they told me to break them, which i did. Now they're okay, hurts a little, but i need to break them more. They put up a plastic outdoor thing under them, that makes them IMPOSSIBLE to wear them in winter time. Yes they say its durable, which i would agree, but with winter season, i can easily slide in them, and therefore, hurt myself and break the suit. This was a good idea overall, for people who live without snow, but since i'm canadian, we have snow here, so i cannot wear my feetpaws with snow, it become VERY SLIPPERY!

The tail is really cool! Since my fursona is mixed with a caribou, she has short fur until yo go to the tip of the tail, which is long fur! I'm freaking amazed by it haha!

How was your concept art realized?
I paid a little more since my fursona has markings a little bit hard to make, but they NAILED every detail to it, so that makes me not having any regrets at all!


How well does everything fit together and match up?
Everything match up! I have nothing more to say! I'm highly satisfied with my product!


How easy was it to initially contact the maker for a quote?
The maker is a friend, first things first. She was easy to contact her to her personnal profile, since she's more active on facebook! Everything was good!


How satisfied are you with the response time from the maker?
How long did it take the maker to get back to you?
Here comes the fun part (not so fun sometimes). By any means, i mean to attack her or her business, because she's a good friend of mine and i really want her to upgrade. When i asked her for a quote, in 2016, they were easy to contact them. After that, it has been hard to get an immediate reply. But i fully understand that they have a life behind their fursuit making. But when you pay a good amount of money, that you worked hard, its a little bit disappointing to get a late reply. Overall, they reply the next day!


How satisfied are you with the professionalism and customer service and of the maker?
I know that i have read some unprofessionalism from other custommers about FurTheWin. BUT, PERSONNALY SPEAKING, i had such good professionalism with them. They answered my concerns and my questions, tney were here to reassure me in my paranoias. Even if they are a good friend of mine, i speak about their business side, not the friendly side. They are approximately, 4-5 people to work there, and each of one reassured me and healed my paranoias. I thank them for that! This is some kind of professionalism to me! even if they lack of reply within the hours, they were always there for me! They also showed me LOTS of wips when my turn came around!


How satisfied are you with how long your project took to complete?
This is the part i hate the most talking about, but as a business, they need to work on that. See, i fully paid my suit in end 2016. I received my fursuit in beginning of August 2018. You see? The time between? I've waited almost 2 years for a suit, that i paid good amount of money, i endured lots of bad things to wait 2 years for this. It made me sad to see the waiting time after i paid (its my fault on this tho!) I was supposed to have it for FurnalEquinox 2018 (that was my deadline), but they didnt respected it. The only thing i find it REALLY sad, is that they will NEVER give you a specific date of completion, so you are in the nothingness. So i stopped asking for deadlines and i told to myself that i will have it when i will have it! Since they are at 1h30min drive from where i live, i got there myself and get my fursuit home, so on that aspect, i didn't have anything negative!
My project, once started, took 3 weeks to be done! I'm not mad, they took their time to be sure i am satisfied. The took the time to PM me each details!
Overall, even if the waiting time is long, i think this is your duty to evaluates what it good for you! Because even if it takes around 2 years of waiting, only you is tour own judge!


Are you happy with the product you received?
The fur quality they use is amazing! The expressions are at your own taste when asked, easy to wear, easy to wash. To be fair, the maker exceeded my expectations! I'm madly in love with my fursuit!



Describe your overall experience with this maker.
Finally, i personnaly won't work again with them. Not that i hate them or their business, simply put (i already have my suit with them too haha), communication is good, but it can be better than that! The waiting time is too long for a product that you pay an expensive price on. They need to look on the possibilities to grow even tougher as a business, but sadly, even if im their friend and past customer, this is their duty! By any means i tend to be ''over dramatical''. In fact, i wrote this simply to make them level up their business. Because sometimes, they will charge a price or extra money for other parts that i already paid, and if you are naive, you will pay extra $$ for a suit you already paid (happened to me, i didn't put it in the other reviews because this is a human mistake! But just open your eyes, or else, you could give them extra $$ without thinking!).

Pros: Quality, (neutral) Communication, Prices (making them affordable), Respect, professionnalism.
cons: Waiting time, deadlines not respected, after payments you lost track of your infos and where you are in their queue.

To conclude, Yes, i would recommend to work with FurTheWin studios, yes they make beautiful suits! If you are really patient, its a must! The quality have been improved A LOT since i personnaly know them! So i would totally recommend!! Their guarantee is AMAZING! you have 1 year guarantee on your suit! That's amazing!
