Jo, Seeker of Inspiration // Jay, Inspiration Unbound
Here's my first attempt at making a planeswalker.
The goal was to illustrate my creative process as a magic card. Jo, my blue side, is all about searching and brainstorming new ideas for art, which I tried to symbolize through drawing cards. The illusion token could represent an initial sketch.
Once Jo is ready, he can transform into Jay. Red, in this case, represents a manifested idea that I want to bring to life, and Jay is all about acting upon said idea. In gameplay terms, he helps you cast all of those nifty cards that you ended up drawing by providing you with mana and creatures of his own and even enhancing your spells with additional damage.
I will probably end up tweaking this card's abilities here and there. While the intent was more to have a potentially cool badge for conventions etc, having a cool and balanced card that would technically be usable in game would be pretty cool too.
Tell me what you think. Is this balanced/too weak/too strong? I'd love to hear your feedback.
