This depicts a scene from a future story I have discussed with
lionkinglover12. Below is a short drabble I've done to 'accompany' it.
Barton was frozen solid. Stuck on the spot. Terrified immensely. There, right in-front of him, was the figure of his worst nightmare, in physical form. The Badger-Muncher. And this time, it wasn't a story, not a camp-fire tale. No, this was real. And it was coming towards him.
And the worst part, was that he had to let it happen.
His eyes briefly wandered over to the giant sack, making out the bulges and dents made by the numerous Badgers trapped inside, no doubt the rescue party that went out earlier. No doubt if they hadn't done this, then the Muncher would have had his way with them. No one to stop him.
And yet, all this though, the reasoning, did not quell the one single thing Barton was. Afraid. Terrified. All he wanted to do was tear out, run away, anything that didn't involve getting closer. But, as that monster inched forward, ready to grab him, the badger stood his ground, merely putting up the 'token' resistance.
He knew what he had to do. He hated the fact, but he knew it had to be done.

Barter closed his eyes in fear, hoping that the badger would at least not make him suffer; he felt him approaching, he felt his warm, wet breath penetrating every fur of his body. Suddenly he felt grasping at the hips, remaining motionless, trembling, began to cry, wetting his cheeks as he felt that he was getting closer and closer to the gaping snout. (sorry I used google translate).
