You're getting better Nemmy! I think with this viewpoint you wouldn't see much of the tongue in the mouth - more like it hanging over the jaw instead, like a ... flap or something. Really excellent shading! I'd definitely recommend you getting some tortillons - they're like just rolls of paper, real cheap at any art store. They're really nice for smoothly blending your shading, I see a lot of traditional artists who work in pencil using them. =>

Thanks for the tips, Oni :) I was using one of those kneaded erasers to blend, lol. I'll have to check out those other things :)

Hm, I like the ridges on the neck much, they look really good :) Maybe the underside of his head is not that visible, though.
