I needed a classy painting on the wall of Giselle's Apartment. following
behavfox, and just worked rough in Colors, with my browser open on photos of Red Deer. Using his method, I was able to bang this out in two hours... TWO. Freakin'. Hours! This is the unfiltered version, I put a bunch of filters on it later, stuck it in a gold frame, and hung it an the wall of Giselle's Paris Apartment. Purely digital, Not pencil work at all, which was .. a surprise. Unfortunately, Giselle's head aboscures most of it. Poor planning on my part (The Christmas Tree also obscures a copy of "Blaine Gloriosus", but you all know what that one looks like. So here is some ancestor painted and hung on a wall. Thank you! The whole illness thing put a fork in me, that life is too short to be stagnant, Art wise. So so decided to set an artistic goal, to be amble tonproduce images like the current crop of D&D or Pathfinder illustrators. So I have been watching streams from some of the painterly artists here, and following their advice. I took matte painting lessons from a Dylan Cole, at a Massive Black seminar (that my company paid for back then). Only now that some of his instructions have gotten through to me while watching some of the other painters work on streams, and actually putting a stylus to the to the surface for an extended time. If you look closer, you can see how rough the piece is , but it has a decent structure; and if I wanted to put the time into it, I could tighten it up into a finished painting. This feels like getting out to f a car after a really long drive. I was on a roll doing this, Inwas on Fire, and it felt so good.
