Krampus page 2
posted 7 years ago Fantasy Artist of Winds | Support me with Shinies!
Krampus is about to beat Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin up, but the person who was attacked by him earlier comes to help by throwing a magic bolt on it's head. Who is he? It turns out to be Yule Goat himself! Krampus doesn't seem to have interest (or courage) to fight them both so he disappears.
Yule Goat reveals the wind paladin what is going on and now they have a common goal; to stop Krampus before he can attack and eat innocent children! Can they stop Krampus in time??
Page 2 of 4. Here we see Sir Kiljaos's new looks without the visour of his new helmet hiding his face. I've tried to make him and my other characters slightly more realistic, instead of him looking like a "Bootleg-Simba."XD
And indeed, Yule Goat is Karamador's version of Santa Claus. He's based on ancient Northern European pagan festivals of Yule Goat, the goat representing a symbol of fertility and harvest. Later on Yule Goat, Saint Nicolaus and Christ Child were combined into modern Santa Claus. Here in Finland Santa Claus is in fact still called Yule Goat (Joulupukki).
