Wow the White Rabbit can be a total Jerk. Hopefully one day she have a better Master or Mistress. She remind me alot of one maid that been part of my oc family for many years, well thousands of years since most of the members are sort of demons.
This maid name is Frankenstein or Frankie for short. She a monster who was Created by her master Uncle in order to serve his nephew. Frankie is a very kind, and she like to help her master the best she can. However her tend to get her alot of trouble, by destroying properties by mistake

That she is one of the few relatively sane citicens of Wonderland doesn´t really help her situation. She is in her thirties, has wasted years of her life for the whte rabbit and wants out. She owns the chamber, btw. its not part of the white rabbits house. When she leaves she can just fold up the door put it in her pocket and fold it out on a wall on her new masters house. her chamber will be on the other side. Its some wonderland magic pocket dimension thing. She is quite found of her humble little chamber, remember, mice like cramped spaces, it makes them feel safe.
That's the face of someone who doesn't get paid enough for this job (though she's quite cute with her hair down)...and its not like she's getting any perks with living on the premises. And even for a mouse, that's an awfully cramped bit of living space!
She does deserve a hell of a lot better...though can't think of anyone in Wonderland who might be a better fit...
(Really enjoying the shading and lighting in this one, as it really conveys how uncomfortably closed in her little home is. Great work =D! )

Thank you! As I said above, she is done with her job. She is in her thirties, has wasted a good part of her life on an ungratefull, pushy little twat like the white rabit, she is one of the few relatively sane persons in wonderland. She ist hust looking for a new master or mistress that treats her decent.
Oh and she likes her chamber, its her cozy little hole in the wall. You see mice like small cramped spaces because it makes them feel safe. Its hers since its not really part of the white rabbits house. when she eventually leaves she will fold upt the door to the chamber, puts it in her apron pocket and takes it with her.

It is a damn shame such a hardworking lass like her is stuck with such a harassing hare, especially one with plenty of common sense and sanity...even if she does use some of the more questionably normal devices such as her chamber door...
Which makes me realize, and I'm sorry, but it must be said (because I have such a weakness for puns), that she walks around with a door she can carry around and place where ever to access her little homestead. So, this means she's a Door Mouse, huh?
And reading some of the new comments above, but oof, really goes to show how bad poor Mary-Ann has been treated when she immediately attaches herself to the first person who shows her any decency and kindness. Oof, poor mouse. Still, Alice would have a pretty dependable companion compared to most Wonderland denizens whose motives and actions are hardly trustful and dubious at best...plus having someone who has a place to crash on their persons all the time would be mighty helpful...if a touch cramped...

She needs much more love. I think if she knew how much people her appreciate her, she would be overwhelmed.
She is not the door mouse, but her door is the mouse door.
I´m sure Alice would be kinda confused by Mary-Ann wanting to serve her but she would sure appreciate the help, and if they get out of wonderland... Well, Mary-Ann would have to arrange herself with Dinah but she could put up her door in Alices closet.

Well, do you remember the part at the beginning of the White Rabbits house scene when the White Rabbit mistook Alice for Mary-Ann (probably because they are about the same size and both wear aprons? IDK.) and how he was just a rude, hectic, pushy little prick? That is the kind of crap Mary-Ann had to deal with for over ten years.
