12-08-18 [Chapter 3 art of my coming novel]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up at 6:30 and headed to the living room, where I was able to sleep on the couch until 9ish. Grandpa woke up and we got him ready, and I realized how much his morning schedule has changed over the last year. We let him shave, then brush his teeth, then give him his morning pudding-meds. After that we'll wash his face and get him cleaned up, then put his shirt on and grandma will feed him. It doesn't take as long but he's more needy.
After he was resting, I made 4 taquitos and 2 quesadillas, ate them, and played craftmines until about 11:30. I decided I wanted to snooze, so I took a nodl nap and woke up at around 1:30ish. From there I got ready and wrapped my paintings while eating 4 strips of bacon, then headed out around 2:30ish. I went to the post office and mailed my paintings out to my frands (around $9 each), then went to Pubix. I did some shopping and while there a woman named Lauren stopped me and talked to me about eye health (She was organizing a charity and said she was peripheral-blind in one eye and center-blind in the other) and that she had had melanoma and a stroke and each affected a different eye. We chatted a bit in the frozen aisle, then parted ways. Also after, I had a free sample of Chardonnay and grabbed a bottle for $11. I paid and headed home, then spent time in my room playing craftmines and watching tubes of Breath of the Wild and eventually edited a bit of my book.
I went to the living room and relaxed until around 5:45, when we got grandpa ready for the night. Despite having gotten a rotisserie chicken, none of us were really hungry so we largely skipped dinner. I did relax on the couch and sip on a strawberry-kiwi Snapple, then nebulized grandpa around 7:33. After, I headed back to my room and played craftmines for a bit, then watched Logan. It was a great movie and a lot of fun, and really scary to think about a telepathic mutant with dementia! O:
After that I watched Tubes for a bit, then wanted to head to bed around 1:45 but forgot to type this journal entry, so I stayed up until about 2:15 fixing that. I wanted to go to sleep, but honestly my nose was stopped up and that made a sub-4-AM sleep impossibru. x_x
