I found the biggest garden spider I've ever seen in my back yard! What would any normal person do? Pick it up and play with it of course!!

Now the kids at the apartment know me as the lady that picks up spiders >_<

Garden spider. That's what they're called. XD
There are two types, the brown one which is this one, and the big black and yellow ones.

nice, i like spiders unless they crawl on me when i dont want them there...i will pick them up sometimes, but the poisonous ones die right when i see them...i saw a damn Black widow the other day and was all like "DIE NAO VILE FIEND!!!!"

any thing that could harm you (Harm, like bite, poison is not an issue) I don't like. Spiders, or anything from the spider family, any flying insect, most odd bugs.

I DO like, however, praying mantises (<3) and dragonflies, along with a few other harmless bugs

If I showed this to my friend Jaxi, she would scream and BAIL THE F*CK OUT! She is terrified of even tiny spiders.

If I saw it, I'd move it to some place where nobody would kill it. Definitely wouldn't be touching it directly tho. ^__^

I had to move this particular spider, actually. These kids discovered the spiders and started smashing them, and I didn't want this big beauty to be smushed, not after all the effort it must have taken to grow that big.

The trick is knowing which ones are dangerous. x.x

I'll let most insects go if I find them in the house, but a brown recluse can seriously hurt someone, if not kill them, so those get no love from me. But on a lighter note, those Panasonic Lumix series cameras take great pictures, and this is another example of their technical brilliance. ^_^

Sadly my poor panasonic is starting to show it's age, the flash is starting to delay so it's hard to take indoor pictures. But at least it works outdoor still :3
