Krampus page 1
It's time of Yule once again in Karamador and Sir Kiljaos the lion paladin of the wind is returning home from a church mass. But on his way faces... KRAMPUS himself! Can he vanquish this mighty foe from spreading terror in Yule??
First of four pages of my 2018 christmas comic that is indeed about Krampus, that half-goat, half-demon figure from European folklore who punishes all those who have misbehaved. But here he seems to be even more sinister than before. What is going to happen??
The folklore of Krampus sometimes say that he is the son of Hel, the norse goddess of Helheim. I haven't made up yet what role Hel would have exactly here in my fantasy world Karamador.
The church of the Divine Elements from where Kiljaos is coming is once again based on one of the burned down old churches here in Finland, to be specific the old church of Pyhäjoki.
Originally I had plans to make this comic slightly longer than four pages and most importantly have it colored. But because lack of time this didn't happen but I hope you all still like this even if it's not colored. :)
