Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... Christmas is such a lovely festive. It does vary a lot depending on which country you live, for example, here in Mexico is not common to place a Christmas tree, but rather something call "Nacimiento" basically, it is a recreation of the moment when Jesus was born.
We use small figures of Maria, Jose and Jesus, along with a small hut.
Even though, I remember with a lot of love one time that my family and me placed a xmas tree, it was on 2011.
Anyway! here we have Alexia putting the star on the tree, just as it has to be done! :3
