Last drawing that has to do with the holidays in general rather than Christmas itself. And last time that I draw about that awful tale that is the Little Match Girl...

The Christmas tree was growing in the forest and she (because it was treated as a female) was thinking she's beautiful and awesome. The forest and birds were telling her she should be happy because she's young and free, but she wanted to travel, visit countries, be more beautiful and so. Generally, she was self-important. Then, on Christmas Day, people came and cut her down, which gave her pain. She was badly surprised and angry. Next, when she got decorated and set in the house, children came and started tearing off the decorations, and it was painful as well for the Tree, she almost fell because of children's rush. The Tree was surprised that even if she's beautiful in all these decorations, nobody treats her like she wanted to. Finally, after Christmas, people threw the naked Tree into the attic, where all the mouses were mocking how ugly and old she looks like. In the end, people burnt her, and her last thoughts were 'I should've enjoyed my forest life, my freedom, youth, the sun, birds... and I wanted more and more. Now everything's finished'.
