Didn't batman kill Bane recently?.. in one of the Superman/batman comic cross over adventers, Batman obtained Superman's super powers, and litterly punched a hole through bane.

Bane suffers from a bit of a same problem as Doomsday; they both gave the title hero a severe beatdown with long-lasting consequences. Where the hell do you go from there?

Altho to be honest, Bane got off a bit better, his villain decay didn't begin until Batman & Robin was released. Yes, his portrayal in that fucking piece of shit of a film actually turned him from a genius bruiser into a brainless thug.

...in the COMICS, that is. Who the hell thought that imitating the movie portrayal in comics was a good idea!?

I know why Tom Hardy's outfit (when he played Bane) wasn't a close fit for the comic book character's. It would have looked too S&M for an audience that might include teenagers.
