Seems Zyas, in his Charr form, has decided its time to claim ownership of a new world into his empire, regardless of what the civilization wants, and part of the process is showing how futile their pitiful defenses are. Seems they are more like annoying gnats then they are anything dangerous or troublesome. And of course this is the capital ships with their doomsday weapons on it, and still they seem to have little effect beyond stinging enough to piss off the giant feline! Something tells me neither the fleet nor planet will last for long...
