Yesterday, there was drawingness at FFF and such, but I couldn't think of anything to draw. So I demanded inspiration from Lava, who blurted out that I should draw a moose. Besides a couple of practice drawings, I've only drawn a deer-like creature once, and she was just one of many characters in the background of a single frame of a comic. So, I'm kinda surprised that the moose turned out decently, actually. Of course, since I don't really know what mooses look like, I just based most of his head vaguely on Dragon Tails (http://dragon-tails.com) style dragon heads, but I guess it worked out.
I thought I was home free once I got past the head until I began to draw feet and paused for a moment, trying to remember what moose feet look like. That's when I remembered they have hooves. I have no idea how to draw hooves, and no matter what I did, it looked like the guy had peg legs and someone stuck toilet paper rolls on the ends. On a suggestion from Muke, I attempted to put curly djinni shoes on the guy, which did look silly, but kind of ruined the picture (meanwhile, Lava told me that the tarrot cards said I was abusing my power... which I suppose is true when I put djinni shoes on people). So in the end, the guy has no hooves. He just sort of... hovers above the ground. Because he's special... with funny checkered clothes.
So there.
