So Evest grows apples on his back and they take on the traits of his current body's health or habits, etc. So he has the ability to grow apples that can cause certain side effects in others when they eat said apples, if he grew them to do so. The problem is that he has to live that habit for months for the apples to be able to reproduce the effects in others. So if he wants laxative or incontinence apples, he would need to live that life for a couple mouths or take lax every day for said time and his apples will start to develop to be able to cause such in others. Same with Weight Gain, Gas, or any other condition he can recreate on his own body for prolonged periods of time.
