From the Pokemon Tabletop United game. We underwent a trial held by Darkrai where our characters were put into increasingly devastating situations where we had to overcome impossible odds to find our breaking point. We got out of it alive, but not without some consequences. Part of the quest involved being turned into pokemon, which we got to choose because we all became something that best fit our personalities.

Miguel had become an exploud, and his shining moment in that arc was when he finished off an enemy vespiquen with a shout attack so powerful that it blasted her through a hut wall/roof. When everyone else was faltering or otherwise unable, he pulled through and saved the day.
