Ph33r teh kitty bandit! This was a doodle I did during algorithms class. The clothing is based off of the bandit clothes from the game Fable, which I was quite into playing for a little while a month ago or so.
Even though he's just standing there, I thought the pose turned out pretty well with the slightly shifted weight. I also liked how the shading worked on his upper body. The shading for the lower body, however, is terrible. I've been attempting to put in more detail in my drawings of late, which I find makes things look slightly more realistic (such as the little ring with the band knotted through it on the sheath or the knot on the mask), interesting (even if it's just a simple pattern on an armband), and also allows you to give hints about a character or tell a little story, which is my favourite part. Of course, I didn't have much a story for this guy, so there wasn't anything to tell (except that he somehow managed to get his ear cut in the past).
