I'm sorry if the tarantula photos seem repetitive, but I just can't stop photographing them. <3 Especially this one, my biggest... whose name is actually Idiazabal. It hardly ever makes an appearance, but it just happened to pop out of its burrow during my Halloween party on the 28th, and everyone got to see how big s/he is getting :) Such a beauty... I love my OBTs.

Sooo
Let me get this straight:
Despite it being in their nature to eat, and despite them being introduced to the country by people, you still think you're able to justify killing them ~inhumanely~ for sport? Not to mention teaching your kids to torment small animals for fun, sounds like a nice way to create more Jeffrey Dahmers :D

Its either that, or several of our native species die out because they've been poinsoned by those fucking things.
Look, I don't want to be rude, but you don't live here. You don't know just how bad they are and have no right to deffend them. Just trust me, the only way to fix the problem is to exterminate them.

I know their history and what they do, don't presume that just because I don't live there, I don't know enough to have a reasonable and logical debate about it. I've owned bufo marinus and read up on them and studied them for years, I know what destruction they cause.
Try to actually read the words I'm typing <3 I NEVER said you didn't have a right to exterminate them. It's the method every typical Australian uses which sickens me. It's why I keep using the word HUMANELY. It's sick to kill ANYthing for ~~fun~~ and justify it by saying "they had it a-comin'!" and other such retard logic. By all means, kill as many as you need to to save crops and other species... key word here: hu-mane-ly.

I'm hearing you. Its not every tipical aussie. Its mainly farmers and rangers that do it. They mainly use poinson and such, but I've heard of people using shotguns and golfclubs on them. I might have exadurated when I said we encourage kids to kill them, its more or less getting kids aware of the threat they pose.
I can't brain to good, I have the dumb XP
Anyway, sorry to make such a big deal over this. Lets just put it behind us and pretend we have really short memories--WOW! Look, a spider! ^.^
